Animal Kaisar

Animal Kaisar

Animal Kaisar is a narrative typing game built for the Very Disco Game Jam 2026.1, created with teammates during my time at Apple Developer Academy. The concept treats a political speech as a chain of interdependent words — pick the wrong word and the rest of the speech (and its consequences) shift with it.

“Chain” is something interdependent — Animal Kaisar turns delivering a speech into a word game where each word depends on the last, and choosing wrong sends the whole speech down a different path.

Inspired by the classic novel Animal Farm, the game weaves typing mechanics directly into a leader’s speech, where every word choice at the end of a sentence carries a consequence for the story’s outcome.

My Role:

  • Collaborated with the team (Ruslan Andreyovich, Playreddd, Fajari) on game design and implementation for the jam’s tight timeline.
  • Helped shape the core “speech as a chain of words” mechanic and its branching consequences.

Result:

The game ranked #5 overall in the jam, with a #2 ranking for gameplay, and judges praised the concept for merging whimsical political satire with Animal Farm-inspired themes.
